Holds a BSc and MSc in Mathematics from the University of Palermo, and a PhD in Mathematics from Roma Tre University, co-supervised by the University of Strasbourg. Completed postdoctoral research in Algebraic Geometry at the Federal University of Minas Gerais and the University of Lisbon. His research interests include Fano varieties, irreducible holomorphic symplectic varieties, and enumerative geometry, with a focus on both Gromov–Witten invariants and A1-homotopy theory. More recently, he has become interested in computational problems and in developing software tools to support mathematical research.
