  • Claudilene Moura Perim holds a PhD in Communication Sciences from Universidade Lusófona (Portugal). She completed a Master’s degree in Education in Science and Health at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), with official recognition of the academic degree in Portugal (registration no. 120190224561). During her master’s studies, she was a CAPES scholarship holder in the PROUCA/NUTES/UFRJ project, dedicated to the integration of information and communication technologies in primary education. Within this framework, she developed the Adolescent Health Game, a hybrid (digital and analogue) educational resource aimed at promoting health education in school contexts, and worked as a practicum supervisor at Universidade Estácio de Sá, with a focus on primary and secondary health care, training teams from the Rio de Janeiro Family Health Clinics in the pedagogical use of the game. Her doctoral research focused on digital literacy, lifelong learning, and the development of inclusive pedagogical strategies for older adults, with particular emphasis on game-based learning methodologies and digital literacy educational materials. As part of her PhD, she developed NetSmart, an analogue educational game designed to promote digital literacy, critical thinking, and the safe appropriation of technologies by older adults. Claudilene has participated in national and European research and innovation projects funded by the European Union, including EEAD, METAYOUTH, GameYES, and PROMEnhance. She is the author and co-author of publications in peer-reviewed international scientific journals, including Educational Gerontology and Frontiers in Psychology, as well as book chapters and papers presented at international scientific conferences. She is currently a research fellow at CICANT – Research Centre for Applied Communication, Culture and New Technologies – and a digital literacy lecturer for older adults at Universidade Sénior Encontros, in Lisbon. Her research interests include geragogy, digital citizenship, media education, and the social impact of communication technologies across the life course.
